Some Key Points from our Returns Policy:
- Purchases made through a TJM store should be returned to the store of purchase.
- Purchases made online via TJM’s website (www.tjm.com.au) can be picked up directly from your home by completing the return process here
- All purchases made online via TJM’s website must be returned to TJM’s Head Office. Please liaise with TJM’s customer service team by phone 07 3865 9999 between the hours of 8:30am and 4:30pm AEST (Brisbane) Monday to Friday.
- The cost of returning an item to TJM is the sole responsibility of the customer. For purchases made online via TJM’s website, TJM will pay for return freight for any product assessed as having a major failure.

Change your mind
All products sold by TJM may be returned with no questions asked within 14 days of the delivery date for a refund or store credit. All returns require an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorisation) number and all freight charges are strictly non-refundable. No returns will be accepted on installed or otherwise used products. If the box is damaged upon receipt by TJM, then you will have 20% of your refund or store credit deducted as a restocking fee. Failure to comply with these terms may result in delayed processing and/or refusal of return. Items that were shipped incorrectly or have been damaged in transit will be reviewed by a member of TJM’s customer service team to determine whether you are entitled to the no questions asked return of the products.
Your legal rights
TJM would like to remind you that the benefits given by our Returns Policy are in addition to other rights and remedies you may have as a consumer under the Australian Consumer Law. In Australia, TJM’s products come with statutory guarantees set out in the Australian Consumer Law. If your TJM product is suffering from a major failure (such as when they are unsafe or wrongly described), you have the right to choose to have the product repaired, replaced or to receive a refund. If your product suffers from a manufacturing fault that is not a major failure and that can be repaired, TJM (or the TJM store that sold the product to you) may choose to repair the product, provide you with a replacement product or provide you with a refund.
Where to return a product purchased instore?
Take your product to the front service desk of your nearest TJM store. This includes products that carry a manufacturer’s warranty, which may need to be assessed by the manufacturer. Visit the store locator at www.tjm.com.au/store_locator for all store locations.
Where do I return any products purchased online via TJM’s website?
For products purchased online via TJM’s website , please click here via TJM’s authorised courier to arrange the return to either: (a) Aeroklas Australia’s Head Office: 17 Johnstone Rd, /pendale QLD 4500; or (b) where you are in Western Australia, to 523 Abernethy Road, Kewdale WA 6105. Please do not return any products purchased online to your nearest TJM store, as the TJM store will not have a record of your purchase.
What information is needed to complete your return?
- Purchase receipt
- Product in the same condition as it was purchased (including manuals, accessories and packaging)
- Provide your name, telephone number and signature in addition to your receipt.
- All purchases made on a debit/credit card will be credited back to the original card used, so for in-store returns please have your card with you.
Don't have a receipt?
If you don’t have a receipt, we ask for your photo identification showing your name, address and signature. You can help us determine proof of purchase by providing a bank statement or similar. Consumer guarantees under the ACL are not limited by a defined time period and can vary from product to product depending on factors such as the nature of goods, price and statements made on packaging and product labels. For TJM product purchases via our TJM Website our customer service team, can assist you with further information about the warranty period for the product you return. For purchases made in TJM stores our network of store owners and managers can assist you with further information about the warranty period for the product you return.
Any expenses relating to the return of your product to a TJM store will normally have to be paid by you. For TJM store purchases from TJM, TJM will pay for return freight for any product assessed by TJM as having a major failure.
Assessing your return
Assessment of your product: TJM may need to assess your product to determine whether a repair, replacement or refund is appropriate. Certain technical products may need to be sent to the manufacturer or their repair agent for assessment, such as: Electrical and motor driven products.
Special procedures for certain products
Repair Notice: The repair of your goods may result in the loss of user-generated data. Please ensure that you have made a copy of any data saved on your goods. Goods presented for repair may be replaced by refurbished goods of the same type rather than being repaired. Refurbished parts may be used to repair the goods. Bulky products: For safety reasons, please contact your nearest local TJM store before returning any bulky products, such as: Bull Bars.
In some cases, a refund, replacement, or repair may not be offered if you: Substantially modify the product; Misuse the product contrary to user instructions or packaging labels; or simply change your mind. Certain products are excluded under our Returns Policy unless they are faulty, these include: Tailor made customer orders.
